Getting Started
What is PubliFlow?
PubliFlow is a tool that helps creators and developers publish their content to multiple platforms from a single place. Instead of manually copying, reformatting, and posting the same article on different sites, you write once and PubliFlow distributes it for you.
We currently support publishing to developer blogging platforms and social networks, with AI-powered content adaptation that adjusts tone and format for each audience. PubliFlow is in Early Access — we're actively building and improving based on user feedback.
Supported Platforms
- Dev.to — Direct API publishing
- Hashnode — Direct API publishing
- LinkedIn — OAuth-based publishing
- Twitter / X — OAuth-based publishing
- Medium — Limited support (see Medium guide)
Note: The list of supported platforms is growing. Check back or follow our blog for updates as we add new integrations.
How to Sign Up
- Go to publiflow.vip/signup
- Create an account with your email or sign in with Google/GitHub
- Verify your email address
- You'll be taken to the dashboard where you can start connecting platforms
PubliFlow is completely free during Early Access — no credit card required.
Platform Guides
Below are step-by-step instructions for connecting each platform. Most take under 2 minutes.
How to Connect Dev.to
Dev.to connects using an API key from your account.
- Log in to your Dev.to account
- Go to Settings → Extensions → DEV Community API Keys
- Generate a new API key (give it a name like "PubliFlow")
- Copy the API key
- In PubliFlow, go to Settings → Connected Accounts → Dev.to
- Paste the API key and click Connect
Your Dev.to API key is stored encrypted and only used to publish articles on your behalf. You can revoke it at any time from your Dev.to settings.
How to Connect Hashnode
Hashnode connects using a Personal Access Token from your account.
- Log in to your Hashnode account
- Go to Settings → Developer → Personal Access Token
- Generate a new token
- Copy the token
- In PubliFlow, go to Settings → Connected Accounts → Hashnode
- Paste the token and click Connect
How to Connect LinkedIn
LinkedIn connects through OAuth, so you don't need to generate any keys manually.
- In PubliFlow, go to Settings → Connected Accounts → LinkedIn
- Click Connect LinkedIn
- You'll be redirected to LinkedIn to authorize PubliFlow
- Grant the requested permissions (we only request what's needed to publish on your behalf)
- You'll be redirected back to PubliFlow — LinkedIn is now connected
PubliFlow publishes as your personal profile. LinkedIn Company Page publishing is on our roadmap.
How to Connect Twitter / X
Twitter/X connects through OAuth, similar to LinkedIn.
- In PubliFlow, go to Settings → Connected Accounts → Twitter/X
- Click Connect Twitter
- Authorize PubliFlow on Twitter/X
- You'll be redirected back — your Twitter account is now connected
About Medium
Important: Medium no longer supports API-based publishing. They deprecated their publishing API, and third-party tools cannot publish articles directly to Medium.
Here are your options for getting content onto Medium:
- Import a story: Medium has a built-in "Import a story" feature. After you publish on another platform (e.g., your blog or Dev.to), go to Medium → Write → Import a story, and paste the URL. Medium will import the content and set the canonical URL automatically.
- Browser extension (coming soon): We're working on a PubliFlow browser extension that will let you push content to Medium via their web interface. This is not yet available.
- Manual copy: You can always copy your article and publish it on Medium manually, making sure to set the canonical URL to your original source.
Features
AI-Powered Content Adaptation Beta
When you publish an article to multiple platforms, each platform has a different audience with different expectations. A Dev.to reader wants technical depth with code examples, while a LinkedIn reader prefers key takeaways and business impact.
PubliFlow's AI content adaptation (currently in Beta) automatically adjusts your article's tone, length, and emphasis for each platform. Here's how it works:
- You write your article in PubliFlow's editor
- Before publishing, AI generates adapted versions for each selected platform
- You can review and edit each version before it goes live
- Click publish, and each platform gets its own tailored version
As a Beta feature, AI adaptation may not always produce perfect results. We recommend reviewing the generated versions before publishing, especially for sensitive or highly technical content.
One-Click Multi-Platform Publishing
Once your accounts are connected, you can select multiple platforms and publish to all of them in one click. PubliFlow handles authentication, formatting, and delivery for each platform simultaneously.
You can also choose to publish to platforms individually if you prefer a staggered approach.
Automatic Canonical URL Management
When the same content appears on multiple URLs, search engines need to know which version is the original. Without proper canonical URLs, your cross-posted content could be treated as duplicate content.
PubliFlow automatically sets canonical URLs on every platform you publish to, pointing to whichever source you designate as the original. This is especially important for cross-posting between Dev.to, Hashnode, and Medium.
You can choose the canonical source in your publish settings before each post.
Content Scheduling
Not ready to publish right away? You can schedule your posts for a future date and time. PubliFlow will publish to each platform at the scheduled time, taking into account each platform's optimal posting windows.
Scheduled posts appear in your dashboard where you can edit or cancel them before they go live.
FAQ
Is PubliFlow free?
Yes, completely free during Early Access. We're still building the product and gathering feedback. Paid plans will be introduced later, but Early Access users will get generous grandfathered benefits.
What platforms are supported?
Currently: Dev.to, Hashnode, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, and limited Medium support (see the Medium section above). We're actively working on adding more platforms.
How does the AI content adaptation work?
PubliFlow uses AI to analyze your original article and generate platform-specific versions. For example, a technical blog post can be transformed into a concise LinkedIn article with business-focused takeaways, a tweet thread with key highlights, and a reader-friendly version for Hashnode — all while preserving the core message. You always have the chance to review and edit before publishing.
Is my API key / OAuth token safe?
API keys and OAuth tokens are stored encrypted and are only used to publish content on your behalf. We never share your credentials with third parties. You can revoke access at any time from your platform settings or from PubliFlow.
Does cross-posting hurt my SEO?
No — as long as canonical URLs are set correctly. PubliFlow automatically manages canonical URLs for you, ensuring search engines know which version of your content is the original. This is the same approach recommended by Google's search advocates.
Can I edit a post after it's been published?
You can edit a post from PubliFlow, and the changes will be pushed to all connected platforms. However, some platforms may have limitations on what can be edited after publication.
